    Cubs/Brewers thoughts wanted

    take the over, eventhough harden pitched weel in his last few games, but well this time he will give up at least 3 runs and I expect the Cubs to score at least 4 against Bush. Take the O7

    I also like Chi to win this one, just because Harden wont loose 3 games in a row, they will support him today.

    I'm waiting for all of the steam on the Cubs. I'll be on the Brewers if I can get them at +150 or better. On paper the Cubs should win, but this game (or this series for that matter) won't go according to script. I think the Brewers claw out a win and you'll get a great price closer to game time as well.

    I would agree with the over too, Illusion. I was pretty shocked to see a 7.5 total in this one. These are not two aces on the mound by any means, against two potent offenses. If nothing else, you've always got either bullpen to bail you out, which either one is perfectly capable of doing.

    harden's been on a pretty stingy pitch count since he's been with chicago. i'll take the brewers team total over 3.5 @ even money seeing as i think the cubs will go to their pen relatively early.

    Bush records are pretty ugly against Cubs just 1w - 8L, but at the moment he has 3 strike wins.
    about over :

    Head to Head :

    Over is 9-1-2 in the last 12 meetings in Milwaukee.
    Over is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings.
    Cubs are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Milwaukee.
    Brewers are 0-5 in Bushs last 5 starts vs. Cubs.
    Chi. Cubs: :
    Over is 6-2 in CHC last 8 overall.
    Over is 6-2 in CHC last 8 on grass.

    so I want to say over 7.5 looks more juicy than under

    2 good starting pitchers points to under. 1st half under is 3 1/2 which is too low. no play for me. as for the side, i like the cubs but not laying that price. again, no play for me

    The Cubs IMO are better everywhere in this game, but a little worried Harden will give up some HR's today. I feel he also has been a little lucky in situations with men in scoring position.

    Bush I think has also been lucky, his BABIP around .265 only. So, I hope a few more drop today.

    I am not sure but I think Mil. usually favors the under (I haven't checked), plus I do not know who is behind the plate today. Not much time for me on Thurs., lucky not a lot of games.

    Overall, I have a small play on chc, with a little more on the over. I am up 25units or so last 5 days, so I might gamble here a bit.

    to get the cubs @ -135 I think is a great price, but this is one of those games where you feel so strongly about it could bite you in the ass, I like the cubbies, but I have a bad feeling

    Doubling up on Cubs. Although they have averaged 6-7 runs last three games. The Brewers have averaged just a couple runs last two games. That is a little scary. However I think the Cubs finish it here with a low scoring win.

    Harden is pitching great. I wouldn't count on the over in this game unless it's over 7.5 k's. Should be alot of strikeouts in this game. Too bad you can't bet on that.
