I think the AL is finally gonna lose this year for the first time in 9 years. They did such a bad job of choosing the All Star backups and pitchers for the AL. How is Varitek a backup? He is so bad. .219 batting average does not cut it. Choosing Ervin Santana over a much more deserving guy like Rich Harden or John Danks. No Lackey or Mussina.

Since Ortiz is injured, Francona wants to put Milton Bradley in at DH. In case you guys don't remember how he played at Yankee Stadium last week, he struck out 6 consecutive times. I really think the AL will get served this year.
