    Edinson Volquez

    I went with him today in a parlay, knowing that he has been struggling in his last three games. I just figured that a no-offense team like the Nats would be just the foe he needs to get back into form.

    BUT...this kid is apparently COMPLETELY distracted by his selection to the All-Star game. The Reds commentators are talking about it. I'll tell you, this is the first time I've watched him live, and he looks like a COMPLETE PUNK. His cap is thrown sideways, he's mouthing-off to his catcher, and cursing like crazy. No composure! Unless the Balester or the Nats bullpen implodes ( ) this game is already over. Volquez is a young headcase.

    I played the under thinking that Volquez should have no trouble shutting the Nats down...figures that he forgot where the strike zone is.
