Any betting the Yanks today is crazy

Not saying Texas will win but too many unknowns here.

1- CC has yet to pitch a big playoff game this year
2- Yankees lineup is even more depleted now without Tex

    And take this into account:
1- CJ Wilson has been on fire
2- Texas Rangers might try for 20 runs tonight
3- Line just too too high at -160

Yankees average about 3 runs in this series so far after Game 1.
In Game 1, they scored those runs by 4 walks and a error pick from Michael Young.
Other then that, last night the Rangers would be celebrating a trip to the World Series.

bottom line is you cannot lay -175 period. yanks could win but this game is a coin flip at this point.

Anyone betting the Yankees today is doing so simply because of their team name. This is a classic no-play for me and waiting to get in on live action. CC can easily give up a 3 spot in the first

Hard to go against CC in a must win spot IMO.

I have to respectfully disagree, I think the play is Texas. The Yankees obviously HAVE to win this game, so let's add pressure to a roster already struggling to make things happen. That just spells let down to me, couple that with Tex being out of the lineup and POSTSEASON, I think the Rangers have too much momentum AND their bats are all firing right now.

I'm not saying it warrants a large play but, Texas at +155 with the way they've been playing, against CC who has been shaky all post season and a Yankees team that's struggling to score runs, seems like a play worthy of 2 units if not a little more.

I just don't see why you'd want to stay away from this game.

rangers have proved time and time again in this post season they can win on the road against great pitching from the TB and now NY. AROD's faces said it all when fatboy hit the 3 run homer. yanks know they got lucky in game 1 and with mark out for them now take away another bat from them. yanks just have way to much against them to even consider putting money on them with that line. if people are so sure yanks are going win why not just take the money line and get +130 for the yanks to win by 1.5.

yea if it was any other team besides the yankees then this line would be -120 or something like that. Fuk the Yankees, bunch of overpaid bitches. Somebody finally knocked them in the teeth and thus far they haven't responded very well. Rangers or nothing.

Other than the five run outburst in game 1, the Yankees have 6 runs in 35 innings. Add to that the fact that the Rangers are 5-0 on the road this post-season and +155 and it's obviously the Rangers.

I'm looking for Wilson to get the win he deserved in Game 1. The Rangers are confident at the plate (hitting .307 in the ALCS); and they hit CC pretty well in Game 1. And if Texas threatens early, CC may go headcase real fast. How much does home field matter, when the Yankees faithful have left the last two games early? Not much magic there now. The only reason to bet the Yankees in this one is the Yankees name, but they are crazy cold (While Texas is hitting .307 in the ALCS, New York is hitting .198, including .154 with runners in scoring position; A Rod hitting .133 in the ALCS; Swisher, .067 in the ALCS; one RBI for Jeter in the ALCS). You kidding? I can't pass up +155 on the Rangers here.

Totally agree. People betting with their heart. A definate no play for me. The only cash cow I've seen is Cliff Lee. The "due" factor has never worked out for me.

Its yankees or a no play. No way you can bet that texas will sweep yankees at home in playoffs...that too with CC on the mound. You must be crazy to bet texas.

I agree especially with CC at home. BUT because of Yankees play as of late, its a no-play for me, or very small on texas ml to take advantage of the + money.

This game is going to be a lot tougher to call then people are making it out to be lol. But I think anyone that puts large sums on the Yankess tonight is crazzzzzzzzzzy.

Vegas knows that a hella lot of people will bet on the Yankees because "they are the Yankees, and they can't possibly lose this one at home with their 'ace' on the mound, can they?"
