    Par for the course, at least the Sox actually do something when they get in.

    I do see a storm brewing in Cleveland though. Give them 2 or 3 years.

    Same with the Reds. How did these teams make it to the playoffs.

    Cards totally crapped the bed basically, and at this point it looks like the Reds are going to be good for a few years. I fully expect them to return to the playoffs next year.

    For the last three Years the AL Central has basically featured the frontrunners suffer major collapses late in the 2nd half

    2008: Twins collapse lose to White Sox in a 1-0 in a game 163 (Epic Thome HR)
    2009: Tiger collapse and lose to Twins in a 163rd game
    2010: White Sox collapse after an amazing 25 and 5 run to the Twins

    Really the last two AL central teams to do anything in the playoffs were the 05 Sox (WS Champs) and the Tigers in 06 (AL champs, should have won the whole thing)
