chapman is bringing some serious heat. Can you name me anyone who threw 100 that was any good.

Zumaya = hurt all the time.
farnsworth threw 100 when he came up = stiff
STRASSBURG hit 100 a couple of times = tommy john fate TBD
Soriano was a stiff for seattle when he threw 100. Now he took 5 MPH off his fastball and he is unhittable.

In the old days even though there was no proof, gibson, feller, Ryan and Johnson were supposed to hit 100 but like I said there is no proof of it. Call it Legend.

Yeah this kid is pretty amazing and boosts the Reds bull pen immensely. Their going to be tough down the stretch, especially with the Cards douching it up. Look for them to take division down maybe deep run in playoffs. Good Luck to All

Can it last though? Lincecum threw in the 100's in the minors. Now only in 90's. If you can consistently throw 105 and have a change up and slider forget about it. Hitters guessing whats coming good luck catching up with 105 when you are fooled.
