Four Picks to Make You Shine This Saturday 4/28/10
Four picks today are decent plays. Again no fluff....just results:
1) Orioles @ Angels: Despite losing 5 straight to the Orioles this year, expect Anaheim to buck that trend tonight as they should jump all over Kevin Millwood. Millwood has lost 6 straight starts already this season and is 2-14 with 5.63 ERA. Both Adam Jones and Brian Roberts should also be out of the line up against Scott Kazmir and the Angels. Pick: Angels (-1.5)
2) Yankees @ White Sox: C.C. Sabathia is 8-1 in 14 starts at U.S. Cellular Field and 15-4 lifetime against the White Sox. While his opponent John Danks is 2-1 with a 5.48 ERA lifetime against the Yankees in four starts. Yankees bounce back on a quality outing by the big fella. Pick: Yankees (-1.5)
3)Royals @ Indians: Cleveland will have gotten all the offense out of them putting up 15 runs last night against the Royals and should see their bats go somewhat timid with Zack Greinke on the mound for the Royals. Greinke is 5-0 with a 2.63 ERA in his last eight since losing to the Indians on Sept. 7, 2008. He is 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA this season, with both starts at home, and allowed one run in six innings of a 2-1 win Aug. 17. Billy Butler also looks to return back into the line up for KC, as he has hit the Indians well this year also. Pick: Royals (-1.5) or total runs UNDER 7.5
4) Marlins @ Braves: Always a tough match up to predict between these teams whever they meet but Atlanta has Tim Hudson on mound at home where he is 4-0 with a 0.75 ERA in his last five home starts, and will be looking once again to win a sixth straight decision overall. He will be opposed by an effective Ricky Nolasco, who is 14-8 with a 4.22 ERA but who wil probably be limited to a strict pitch count becasue he will be making his first start since he discovered he had a torm medial miniscus in his right knee.Pick: Braves ML
