Minnesota Twins Odds to Win WS +2700

Does that not seem like incredible value at this point in time? Sure their starting rotation may not stack up to the likes of the Rays or Yanks, but they are playing really well, have great balance of power/base hitters/speed in the lineup, are tremendous at home and boost a very formidable bullpen.

Also, I believe there's value with the TB Rays at +750.

    Any thoughts here.

I don't see any value in Twins winning WS, but I do see some value in Tampa Bay winning WS.

You dont think risking $40 to Win $1,080 is worth a shot?? I sure think it is, not saying there going to win, because its unlikely......but in playoff baseball, one team always seems to emerge out of no where.

    Its a waste of money.

Check the history of Minny vs. Yankees. After seeing that, just let the dream go.

With that middle bullpen, no way you'd get me to take Tampa Bay at less than 10-to-1. Looks like Minny is a far better value, but that's just my opinion.

The Minnesota Twins are 38-20 at home this season and are heavy favorites to beat the Chicago White Sox who are 30-31 on the road this season.

2010 SEASON: We advise relying on these trends after the first 6 to 8 weeks of the season. UNITS EDGE FAVORS: Minnesota Twins

PAST 30 DAYS: We advise incorporating these trends along with the 2010 Season after the first 6 to 8 weeks. UNITS EDGE FAVORS: Minnesota Twins

    CWS: Buehrle (11-9, 4.05)
    MIN: Pavano (15-7, 3.27)

I disagree, I think they had of the best bullpens in baseball and then added Matt Capps to the mix.
Duensing, Crain, Mijares, Guerrier and Capps all have sub 3.10 ERA, and then Mahay and Rauch have 3.44 and 3.53 respectively. Two tough lefties in the mix, and these 7 throw 95% of their bullpen innings.

Dont have the numbers infront of me, but I cant imagine many bullpens being more effective and being so deep (which is critical in playoff baseball)

I'm not saying the thought hasn't crossed my mind, but the pitching staff simply isn't strong enough.

Crapshoot coins the 1st round is a joke. You play 162 games but you can't have a 7 game series. Selig is a joke

Liriano is still erratic (when he's on, he's on, but he also has starts like last night more than an ace should), Pavano's a steady vet but he's not as good as his record indicates, Baker and Blackburn are gascans when they struggle, and Slowey is iffy health-wise.

You throw a 100% Morneau and Slowey in there, and sure, I'd buy the idea. Even so, do you see Matt Crapps closing out the AL Pennant clincher?

I agree, all rounds should be 7 gamers.

Yankees own Twins. That's all the thing you need to know.

+2700? Holy shit that's pretty high for a team that most likely will make the playoffs...

Im glad I sprinkled $50 on this prop bet when I did. Hopefully they can hang onto 1st in the AL, and get home field against Yanks or Rays.

    $50 to win $1,350.

it is worth a shot course, not likely to happen but better than seattle to score more than 3 runs the rest of the year at 1 million to 1. at least you have a chance.

What r the odds now? If they went down for this prop then it was worth it. Nice work.
Twins are a great team and seem different from years past.
If they face the Phillies in the WS hedge your bet.
Phillies win the world series, they have three legitimate Aces on their squad, and pitching wins.

You can always hedge when they are about to be swept by the AL East wildcard
