Zambrano looked good @StL on Saturday.

Latos is due for a clunker, isn't he?

It may be a good value play but not for those reasons. Moreso because of the line. Personally, I look at that line a lot like the OAK line today. Just trying to brain-!@#@ people into taking the Cubs.

Zambrano is always good against STL.

Having sat 15 rows behind home plate at the SD/SF game this past SAT, I can confidently say that Matt Latos is never "due" for a clunker. He's so beyond good.....

It's baseball. Latos is great, no doubt, but he's not immune to sub-par outings.

True, but there better spots to pick against a pitcher than one of the best in the game at a good price. Rather fade someone at -240.

Richards was about at that line today. He nearly shut out the Cubs; and heard yesterday people talking about how Richards was terrible on the road. Cubs swept tomorrow. "Never count on the Cubs to win you money". Keep repeating that and you will do fine.

I think they get swept. No way Z is mentally tough enough to pitch 2 games in a row. Pads are hot right now. I think Z gets lit up.

Hoping pads team total is low with these 2 pitchers. Im gonna take the yankees tomorrow in the morning.

I don't know how to describe it, but from game 1 of this series, there's always a thread that keep suggesting taking Cubs coz of value or whatever reason, but the result is still...

Of course I expect the same for game 4, and you created it

If anyone is looking for a reason to bet against the Padres (seems a lot of you do), here's some motivation. I won't be backing the cubs, just spreading the info.

    • Cubs are 5-0 in Zambranos last 5 home starts vs. a team with a winning record.
    • Cubs are 9-0 in Zambranos last 9 starts during game 4 of a series
    • Padres are 1-4 in their last 5 games with Foster behind home plate
    • Cubs are 5-0 in Zambranos last 5 starts with Foster behind home plate

Interesting -- though I'm not a big believer in these little trends.

I'll watch the balls fly to the stands on Yankee Stadium tomorrow, Porcello vs. Hughes

I really want to take that over, but it's 9.5 (notorious for unders) and being juiced for the under right now.

Vegas might be thinking Hughes throws a gem vs. the road-weary Tigers. Might be another NYY RL day.

I lend weight to the umpire information in some cases. Certain ump's zones can be more detrimental or beneficial to a specific pitcher's style.

IMO Big Zeta caught STL right when they were beginning this slump they are on...Latos may be due sooner or later, but big Z is not too comforting to back...you know what i mean? and

I LOVE FADING THE FREAKIN CUBBBBBBSSSSSSSS...baby jebus himself could come down and pitch for them for 9 innings and i still wont back them...them or them marlins...and now that ZONAAAAAA...lol

BOL, im on SDG...;actually, its pretty much only play i like tomorrow

    Who's at -160? SD is -146 at a good book. Close your Sportsbook.com account...seriously.

For example. Sportsbook has SD -160 and CHC at +140, whereas 5dimes has SD-146 anc CHC at +136.

I think i'd rather watch that. Didn't place the wager on the Cubs and played the Yankees RL instead. Thanks.

I do not understand how anybody can use Zambrano's previous trends since he hasn't steadily pitched all year.

Latos is young, his arm is strong. The "due" factor is not strong, especially with Pads bats being so hot.

Cubs just gave up Lee, they need time to adjust. Padres are gonna go again for a big fat W.

    Padres or no play.

They don't post totals early for Chicago games. Wind is too unpredictable.

Latos - 2.32 ERA and SD has a way better bullpen
Latos is 9-2 over his last 11 starts
SD is 7-1 over their last 8 meetings with the cubs

    Overrated Zambrano - 5.27 ERA
Cubs have only won 7 of their last 25 games (big time slump!)

I'm on SD for this game.

Definitely on Padres. These two teams and pitchers are complete opposites right now with everything going for San Diego here except it isn't at home.
