Do you fade Westbrook, Cards today?

Texas acquired Lee and he lost first start. Phillies got Oswalt and he lost first start. Does the trend continue?

That's very true, but Houston was not a public play and are not contending for anything.

the biggest difference i see is that Larussa was smart enough not to just throw him right in there (well that and unfortunately talent level) but i think giving the guy a day or two to get settled cant be a bad idea..he got to sit back and watch Wainwright do his thing and something wonderful usually happens when we get a pitcher no one even thought about...Myers has been very tough so im really not sure, i do think it will be low scoring and that we pull it out late but that could just be my biased talking.....

I think its worth a shot. I might take FF with Houston just in case they blow it at the end. Think Westbrook will come out a little nervous and might serve up some softball pitches for them to hit.

I've been fighting w/ this one since last night. I really want to take Myers.

    Haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Bank I agree with this 100%, Myers has been on fire and I could see him possibly winning but I wouldn't just auto fade Westbrook because of the trade.
