    First Inning Favs

I have been monitoring the idea of this system for long time and noticed that it can be very profitable with good money management. What I will be doing is betting the largest first inning favorite every day. I will be using a 4 game chase with modified aggressive labby lines. Thought it would be a nice way to help us all make some extra money..

My A lines stated tonight with:
    50 50 50 50

bet 190 to win 100 on Sd/LAD first inning "NO"
    Points Awarded:

    Brian891 gave dlunc3 3 SBR Point(s) for this post.

Our A line now looks like this:

    Bet A tonight 7/29:

bet 200 to win 100 on Sd/LAD first inning "NO" (-200)

Ok so I have to ask about your "money management"...if you're betting the heaviest favorite every night and going up to a 4 game chase, that's a lot of dough right there. What % of your stack are you risking on the first game of a chase, and on a 4 game chase total?

I will not be using the commonly used martingale betting system..instead I will be using one of the many variations of the labouchere. I have found this to be the BY FAR best money management system out there after using and studying them both intensively. I keep an A line, a B line, and a C/D line. So three separate lines. I keep my C/D lines together since they are a lot more rare then the A and B.
So as of tonight after the win last night, my lines look like this:

    A line:
    X 50 50 X

    B line:
    50 50 50 50

    C/D line:
    50 50 50 50

So for tonight's A bet, I am risking 200 to win 100 (combining the two outside numbers on my A line 50 + 50). Even if a series loses 3 straight and we have a D bet, the D bet will just be a nomal sized bet rather then a huge bet using the martingale money management.

Personally, I play 6 different systems so I risk only a low % of my roll on all of them. I am personally starting this system with lines of 150 150 150 150. I will be using lines of 50 50 50 50 as an example just so it is easier to follow. The recommended starting line if only using this labby system is 5%. So if your roll is $1,200, your lines would be 15 15 15 15 since $60 (15 x 4) would be 5% of your $1,200.

Thanks Daba I hope so too!

I personally use two books (betus and sportsbetting.com) As you do on your thread, I will also be basing my numbers off of BetUs. Say Sd/LAD tonights line was -200 and another game, say philly/ariz was also -200 on betus... I would look to see what the "yes" line is for those games. Whichever "yes" line is higher, I will be betting on that game since vegas will be telling us that that team has a better chance to not score a run in the first.
So if SD/LAD "no" is -200 and "yes" is +150,
and Ariz/philly "no" is also -200 and "yes" is +140".......I will be betting the SD/LAD "no" since they have the higher number on the "yes" side. I hope this makes sense I am trying to be as clear as I can.

If the numbers are still the same, I will switch over to my to my second book, sportsbetting.com. I will view the games lines the same way I did on betus to decide which game to bet. If they are both still exactly the same (which is rare), since I am using labby lines, there is some flexibility. I will be betting 1/2 of my total on both games and then adjusting my lines accordingly..

Best of luck to all your bets tonight!

First time I have ever been semi happy about a loss! Gives me a chance to start to explain the money management I will be using. Like I said, I use this same exact management for 6 other systems, and I have been successful for each (another member on this site had gotten me stated using this type of labby lines a while back, so I wanna make sure he gets the credit). As long as your starting line stays conservative, there is no reason that we should not make money. What is good about doing you money management like this is that even with a series loss, I always add what I lost back into my lines and make it back. If you follow any other systems, I recommend following this same type of money management because if one of the systems goes on a bad run, you can always transfer some money from your lines on this system to another system, or even the other way around. Like I said before, I AM STARTING SMALLER on this system then I do on my other systems just until it completely proves itself to me.

    Now, tonights play:

    Bet A tonight 7/29:
bet 200 to win 100 on Sd/LAD first inning "NO" (-200)----LOSS

Since we lost $200 on this bet, what I will do is divide $200 by 6, which is $33.33, and add $33.33 to each of my numbers for my A and B lines. So our lines going into tomorrow will look like this:

    A line
    X 83.33 83.33 X

    B line
    83.33 83.33 83.33 83.33

    C/D line
    50 50 50 50

REMEMBER-- a geat aspect of using this money management is that there is a lot of flexibility. If you ever become uncomfortable with the amount of you A line, B line, or C/D line, you can always take some away from that line and add it to one of the other lines. So say you wanted the numbes on you A and B lines to be a little less then 83.33, instead of dividing the $200 we lost tonight by 6, you could divide it by 10 and add 20 to every number on you A, B, and C lines, instead of 33.33 to just your A and B lines. Like I said, just do what you are comfortable with. What I HATE to do, but is sometimes necessary, is add extra numbers to one of your lines. So if all of our lines got up to say 300 300 300 300 (which should NEVER happen, I am just using it for example), and you are uncomfortable betting this amount, we could add an extra number to each side of our line (our starting number of $50 to each side of your line so that you would not be forfeiting any of your profit goal). So by adding an extra number to each side, our lines would be 50 300 300 300 300 50. You could then turn them into 216.66 116.66 216.66 216.66 216.66. As I said before, I hate to have to add numbers to my lines and it is always my last option. But if you go on a bad run, sometimes it may be necessary so that you are not betting uncomfortable amounts.

I am sure this all sounds confusing... I feel this first inning fav system can work with any good money management strategy that you may use, but I just feel that this money management is the best. I promise it is not as confusing as it sounds... I will continue to update the amounts daily to help anyone understand that may be interested.

I look forward to our B bet tomorrow... again, our amount will be to win $166.66 (83.33 x 2).

Good luck with all your plays tonight!

so after tonights bet B win, our lines look like this:

    A line:
    X 83.33 83.33 X

    B line:
    X 83.33 83.33 X

    C/D line:
    50 50 50 50

Our next bet will now be back on the A line. So for tomorrow, we will be betting to win $166.66 (83.33 + 83.33) on the biggest first inning "no" spread.

I will not be around tomorrow, and possibly not Sunday if the play ends up being an early game. Follow the same format as we did after yesterday's loss if tomorrows play ends up losing. If it wins, we will have cleared our A line, and will begin a new one of 50 50 50 50 again. So if the bet wins tomorrow, our bet on Sunday will be to win 100 again. I will update asap when I get back on Sunday. Best of luck with all of you plays this weekend!

I believe last night was fla/sdg_no_-175_Win_+$166.66_3-0_$+233.32.

Looks like dlunc3 cleared the A line so now go after the B line to win $166.66 (B Line: X 83.33 83.33 X)

So for today the play should be fla/sdg_no_-190_$316.65_to_win_$166.66.

I may be incorrect so "Don't quote me boy I ain't said shit"

Thanks Daba for jumping in while I was gone!

    So last night....

bet 291.66 to win 166.66 on FLA/SD first inning "NO" (-175)----- WINNER

Left our lines looking like this after last night:

    A line:

    B line:
    X 83.33 83.33 X

    C/D line:
    50 50 50 50

Since we cleared our A line, we will now begin a new A line: 50 50 50 50

So for today's bet, we should have bet "to win" $100 (50+50)

I was not around at all today. I got home just before the game started tonight and saw the line was high, so I personally jumped on it. After researching it, I noticed that on betus, the lines were -190 for the no, and +160 for the yes, on both the flo/sd game today and the sf/los game tonight. Unfortunately, I have no way of seeing what the lines were today on sportsbetting.com which would have decided the official play. So even though I jumped on the SF/LOS game tonight, which won, I know that the flo/sd game was a loss earlier. So I am just going to completely skip today and call it a push since I really do not know what the official play should have been. I apologize... I should not need to be away again the rest of the summer so we will not run into this problem again.

So going into tomorrow, we will be on the A line again, betting to win $100. Looking forward to another good week...hopefully you all made some nice profit this weekend!

Sorry for the confusion...each line is meant for those specific games. So all A bets are played on the A line, all B bets on the B line, and all C or D bets on the C/D line.

bet $175 to win $100 on ATL/NYM first inning "NO" (-175)----LOSS

So after tonight's loss, we take the $175 and divide it by 8. Since our B line has just two numbers in it, and are higher amounts then our other lines, this time we will add the $21.88 ($175 / 8 = $21.88) to our A lines and C lines. Our lines now look like this:

    A Line:
    71.88 71.88 71.88 71.88

    B Line:
    X 83.33 83.33 X

    C Line:
    71.88 71.88 71.88 71.88

    So tomorrow's bet will be:

yea, took me a little while to understand it... but after getting comfortable, it is all I use for the 6 systems I bet. It keeps your bets nice and spread out without forfeiting profit. I keep separate lines for all my systems.. so if one of the systems goes on a bad run and the lines get heavy, I just transfer some money and spread it through out the systems. Ive researched hundreds of different MM strategies, and always keep my eyes open for new ones.. but so far, this is the best I have seen..

bet $299.99 to win $166.66 on SD/LOS first inning "NO" (-180)---LOSS

So with this loss, we will have our first C bet... We need to add the $299.99 that we just lost in. So we divide $299.99 by 6 and add $50 to each number on our B and C/D lines. They now look like this..

    A Line
    71.88 71.88 71.88 71.88

    B Line
    X 133.33 133.33 X

    C/D Line:
    121.88 121.88 121.88 121.88

Since our lines are a little lopsided right now, lets even them out a little more (without taking any money away or adding any numbers)..

    A line:
    104.17 104.17 104.17 104.17

    B line:
    X 104.17 104.17 X

    C/D line:
    104.17 104.17 104.17 104.17

So after tonight's winner, we will go back to our A line... As you can see, winning A bets makes you profit a lot quicker then when bets go to a C bet. Going to C/D bets slow you up.. but what is nice is that you are never betting uncomfortable amounts... As long as you have a system that wins the majority on A or B bets... you will profit slowly but surely. So our lines now look like this:

    A line:
    104.17 104.17 104.17 104.17

    B line:
    X 104.17 104.17 X

    C/D line:
    X 104.17 104.17 X

Tomorrow will be bet A to win $208.34.

WOW... been in Missouri since friday morning... i had no idea it was like a 3rd world country out there! I could not find any cell phone reception or internet reception at all!

So sorry for the few days off... I was not expecting that! Anyway, back to business...

I have no idea what happened this weekend, we probably missed a few system wins...but ill pick up where we left off...
