    lets start w/scouting reports:

    Cahill: strong young balanced pitcher, good command of all pitches, huge upside, bad haircut, named after "Yes" guitarist Trevor Rabin
    Matusz: youthful brainiac lefty w/deceptive delivery reminiscent of jared weaver, records outs, spells his name in odd manner, relative total unknown


    take couple of pitchers like this against these piss-poor offenses & you got yourself a bona fide pitchers duel.

    Took a bad beat last night on fishies "under" play, and I noticed the books dropped the o/u tonight despite scrub Nate Robertson starting for the fishies. Seriously brah, Nate's gonna be gone from the rotation by the all-star break. Even in the NL this guy can barely maintain a sub-5 ERA. Tonight's number on this game pretty much solidifies the fact that oddsmakers effed up last night's number big time.

    looks like betting is pretty evenly split on this total

    truth is I didn't expect to see what I consider a good price on the under of a game between these 2 teams

    I mean last night's "under" price was predictably horrible because every tout/square in town's betting the "under" when braden's on the mound

    This still has a chance. The O's dont score enough runs when Matusz is pitching as for the A's you know they wont score more than 2. Personally didnt play it but I think it has a chance.
