Worst May for -200 favorites in the last 6 years
Just spotted an interesting trend. So far this year, May 2010 has seen the worst record for -200 or greater favorites going back as far as 2004.
-200 fav's are 13-8 so far for -590$ for the $100 dollar bettor.
This means either two things:
1. Some messed up shit is going on and some underdogs are being seriously devalued, hammer them dogs!!!
2. It's bound to improve and should be profitable for the rest of the month, hammer them favs!!!
Take your pick.

well thats a cluster **** of advice lol
Hahah, yeah it's not that helpful. Just interesting to see though. Makes me want to avoid -200 or greater favs altogether right now !
It doesnt take a Harvard PHd to know that betting -200 favs is a losing proposition
Yea u got a good point...interesting
Very interesting. I think its because of teams like the pirates and the nats who are half way decent this year.
it's the parlays that make the -200 favorite. even joe idiot isn't betting these straight all the time. yanks, cards, dodgers, etc are almost always in parlays (daily) when they are -200 or more...and that won't ever change
