    Cardinals couldnt get any runs off Karstens???

    Cards will go no where in the playoffs....they cant hit...Albert just struck out with 2 on to end the 8th.....he is in a lil slump right now but everyone knows its just a matter of time before he unloads but the rest of the line up is just so inconsistent....losing 1-0 to the Pirates right now...pathetic

    Holiday was out of the line up today...he pinch hit in the 8th and got a single...Cardinals are usually a no play for me with Holiday or Albert out of the line up but for some reason i didnt notice he wasnt in the lineup when i checked before the game

    cardinals are so inconsistent, thank god i took them in a parlay instead of laying the juice on them. one day they get 6 runs the next day they cant get a run off against the pirates. cards arent going anywhere this year.

    LaRussa knows McGwire the steriod king had no shot at anything else and did it out of mercy. I mean seriously, will any of the honest players on the team take anything he says seriously? The guy is a cheat. As for the poor play of recent, the Cards have some old guys on the team, poor pitching after the #1 and #2 spots, and poor bullpen. They go through a funk like this all the time off and on. I think allot of times they don't take teams seriously and think that theyy are going to win just because they are the St. Louis Cardinals.
