    I don't know why the A's are getting so much respect...

    They have the worst lineup in the league + a mediocre bullpen (sans Bailey) + Starters that only go 6 innings

    Can someone fill me in?

    good bullpen with a good closer and above average starting pitching.

    your right their lineup isn't that good but pitching and defense wins games.
