    Cubs/D'backs total... Thoughts???

I was leaning towards the over 7½ in this game. Big Z is going on 3 days rest, and AZ should score some runs off of him early. Not to mention that Jason Marquis could pitch in this game in mid-relief if Carlos gets roughed up early.

Whats everyone else's thoughts on this total?

I say the D-backs win in six games at most. I didn't want to be to brave and say five, so I'll stick with six. Hopefully there pitching can hold up.

I'm on the over as well. Was reading a story that said to avoid the obvious early in the playoffs for totals i.e. Two good offensives teams = over. Two good pitchers = under. Worked in the Phils-Rox game and this one is screaming under, so why not go oppo!

D-Backs hit guys good on three days rest. Ask Peavy.
Lou Pinella is an idiot for taking the Z-Man out early.
Z-Man better hope he has something in the tank this Sunday*

Zambrano pitched friday and beat the Reds 6 - 0 .

BBD , He would be on 3 days rest the next matchup , everyone knew that by now right ? Wow , I am starting to be leery of the Cubs really breaking through in 07 if he has to pitch on 3 days rest in Chic with the wind blowing in some crazy directions, thats pretty insane .

Your right. After I posted my comment I thought about it, and remembered it was a five game series. I like baseball, but at the same time I'm not a huge fan. I don't follow it all year long very close. That and I only go to maybe five games a season as well. But living in Arizona makes me cheer for the D-Backs. My bad.
