    while im evidently also a met fan, i think the mets do win today, maine won his last 6 starts at citi field and i really think this team has redemption at the top of their minds even tho they wont make the playoffs. Mets will be a good home team this year.

    Keijo, looks like Mets are toast. They were worth a shot as a home dog and Maine has been pretty good. Just hoping Cardinals hold on so it will balance the Mets off. On another note, i really like that Rowland Smith kid, he had some quality stuff last year

    I know this is after the fact (mostly) but don't ever bet on the Mets beating Josh Johnson and Ricky Nolasco back to back. The Mets just aren't very good and if not for a horrible outing by Pinto this game wouldn't be 6-3
