One would think that they are bound to get back on track today.
But these odds are atrocious. It's all about the pitching.
Spencer Strider in his last 5 games has posted a 6.00 era with a 4.97 fip. He got throttled in his last start giving up 8 earned in 4 innings of work. Now, most folks would think it's time for a bounce back, I get it. Although with pitchers, an outing like that could be a precursor to an issue, who knows?
It's not like he's been lights out in his prior 4 outings before the last one. 3.91 era, 4.97 fip.
What do we know about Reese Olson? Not much other than the kid has looked pretty fuckin good. And non of the Braves bats have seen him.
You'd be nuts to lay juice on the Braves today, even if they do win. Most people don't understand that.
