    Johnny Damon - What a character!

    I was at the Jays / Yankees game today, sitting down the 3rd base line close to left field.
    A few Toronto fans were relentlessly taunting this guy and he was having a blast, when there was a break in play he was hamming it up very well for his Toronto detractors, AND his NY fans (which there were ALOT of). Fun to watch. Really!

    The Indians announced they had purchased Damon's contract on Tuesday and made roster room by designating infielder Jose Lopez for assignment.
    Now in his 18th major league season, Damon has 2,723 hits and a .286 career batting average. He is ranked third among active players in runs scored (1,643).
