Chris Sale doing what he does best

Getting smacked all around on the mound. Guy is a major bust.

Sale was bad but the umpire was worse. He melted down, and there's no excuse for that but he got a raw deal there for sure.

And the strike three call on JD Martinez in the first inning on that pitch at the ankles is considered a felony crime in 24 states.

He will be on a very short leash come playoffs. Maybe play an opener for 2 innings.

Starting to look like the Red Sox are going to be on the outside, looking in, for the 2019 playoffs.

Not to mention the strike 3 call on Mookie two feet outside. Umpire was a joke.

We have the technology for the computers being consistent with strike zones. Time to get with the times, and use the tools that are available.

I'm a Marlins fan. (Yeah we suck too.) I do think there is value on Royals and Duffy tonight though. Thoughts?

I live in Atlantic League (indie country)
The quality of play is between AA and AAA.
The Atlantic League is the league where they do all that experimental stuff, two years ago it was the pitch clock etc. etc.

Any news on how it's going? I heard they were starting it in the second half of the season.

    So far so good.
A couple of bugs to be ironed out, but yeah, it looks doable.

That's why I never draft a pitcher in round 1, and for me to pick a SP in round 2 he better be a stud.
My strategy draft day is to select the best four position players available to me in the first four rounds than get some pitching in rounds 5 through 9.
