    Fading/Backing teams in 2010 season

What do you guys think of the idea of picking a couple teams you think are underrated/overrated and backing/fading them respectively for the entire season (barring injuries).

I think a couple good teams to back might be the Giants and the Phillies, and the Red Sox and Yankees are good fade material since people tend to bet them heavily and the lines may be shaded.

I think someone faded the yankees all last season and ended being down. Best of luck though

While I don't think this will work to create a great profit, I also don't think you'll lose your ass on it.

every team good and bad go on streaks, winning and losing. what people tend to overlook is the hitting aspect of these teams - teams slump at the plate and get hot. make sure you pay attention to how a team is hitting and fielding and not just who is starting on the mound. good luck!

I was thinking something like this. Somebody had posted a season long fade of the Pirates last year that went really well.

Of course, fading the Yanks last year would have been a disaster because they were actually as good as their hype for once. Anybody got any ideas who the '08 yanks/bosox are this year?

I'm going to expect the nats to be $$ early on based on last year's turnout. They should tease the 70 win mark this year
