Value is there, Gray is a weak link in rotation and Rays have done OK in their bullpen games.

This starting with "bullpen by committee" won't last long. The NYY lead the league in almost every offensive category, look for them to break out today. Doubt they are held to 1 run in several games. As always, BOL Boss.

I like what Rays are doing, they only have 2 healthy starters in Snell and Eovaldi and they have elected to use Major League relievers in all the other games instead if calling up minor league starters. Nice strategy as long as the "first" pitchers are effective and they have been for the most part, especially Stanek who is unscored on as a starter.

Yes he is good, but what does that have to do with point I was making? Which is Rays only have two healthy starters and they are preferring to fill other three rotation spots with bullpen days until other starters get healthy.

No, when I said "first" pitcher, I mean bullpen committee leader that starts the games. Not a bad thing when that guy does not allow any runs.

Their pen has to be getting gassed. I wasn’t sure just having the 1 game a week being a pen game was a great idea, now it seems they going this route quite often!!

Cash has scheduled out the long guys nicely though, using Yarbrough and Andriese as second pitcher every five days. Also seems they are grooming Font to be bona fide starters, which would cut it down to two bullpen days in rotation. It will be just one once Archer gets back.

That line right here is how you WIN long term...

Imagine how many squares checked the card tonight and thought Yanks ML only -170 vs shitty TB with Gray starting? Are you kidding me? Ill take that bet!!

I might also take Yanks -1.5 so I dont pay any juice... Damn this is too easy

Then they shit the bed, unreal.

This is baseball, such a high component of luck you should never lay -170 EVER, let alone on the road...

Not sure why Rays used Stanek again today (another scoreless outing by the way), they may actually give Andriese normal start tomorrow now.
