It's not necessarily about wins and losses in baseball, it's not surprising you don't understand that. If a lot of your losses are higher juice that takes away from your bottom line...hence keeping an updated record with the amount of units you are up/down is how you determine if you are "winning". This is in fact how you successfully bet baseball as nobody knows the outcome of game before it played. All we can do is make plays we feel will win a higher percentage of the time than the odds suggest. Whether you successful over the long haul comes down to whether your process for reaching that decision is sound.
