Good God! I tell ya though: that seems about right. It seems like everytime a big favorite loses you see someone on here or other forums saying, "no way can they lose 2 in a row to" whomever and, inevitably, it happens.

I believe the quoted numbers. Great stuff, LT. Now, in what position do I put that in my filter train?

This is fun. I made a mistake earlier on the sportsdatabase.com.

LT, I used your 140 mark. A 100 bettor betting on favs of less than -140, and betting on dogs of more than +140, would be up +2055 for faves and +4135 for dogs. For a total of +6190. That's 62 units just using the 140 separation line!

The database only goes back to 2004, but for blindly betting dogs of +240 and more a 100 bettor would be up:

    2004: +740 (11-23)
    2005: +370 (5-10)
    2006: -30 (4-11)
    2007 to date: +1110 (4-0)

Note - with these dogs up 4-0 for the present season, this may not be the best time to jump on.
