    TT's 2nd Inning Runs scored

    Hello ladies and gents!

Some of you might know me from here http://www.sportsbookreview.com/foru...ing-plays.html , some might not give a damn and might just be here to make some money.

As mentioned a few times, I've been working on a new in-game system and have decided to now concentrate ONLY on the 2nd inning in this thread. this is a perfect follow up to the old thread.

I do all my capping well before lineups, ump crews are published, not even caring about the weather. I've backtested it this way and it is working. I expect similar results....

    Let the fun begin!

    Todays second inning picks:

    No Runs Scored:
    MIN/KC
    NYM/SFG

Have fun, let's see how this goes!

ok nitro just put the lines up for scores in 2nd inning

    1. they are very juicy
    2. if you want to bet an over you would have to either bet that they score 1 run, or more than 1 run. you can't just bet that they score in 2nd inning

would you play these at this juice?

no way, those lines suck! I'll see what else I can find. worst case, I'll just take what I can get on marathonbet, bet365 or 5dimes.

i dunno how hard is to analyze all the stuff for this system and how long time does it take from a person ( i follow instructions from that post on covers and it works well for now), and i dunno if ure gonna have time or will to keep this tread alive as ur keeping o/u but man i have some strong feeling that this type of play's are made for you (u know numbers, much numbers lol), bol

omg shitty lines indeed, listen i think i already spoke about this, in my country government taxes betting so bookies take 12% tax from each win and 5% from every stake as (as something like manipulative expenses, i think they just rob people like that) so as u can notice its harder to make money than for examlple in pinny, but lads, odds for no runs scored in 2nd inning are usually never under 1,85 and i never saw like 1.60, for other innings they might come down as low as 1.65 ( usually they are at 170-180). but in these 5 days as i use this system i didnt saw 2nd inning no score odd lower than 1.8

I really enjoy the single inning bet because you can concentrate on a set amount of variables. There are so many events that take place during 3, 5 or 9 innings which I think gives a capper a much smaller edge. If I were to ask you what the chances are I roll snake eyes, two times in a row using two standard dice, you could easily calculate my chances. Now, if I tell you that a little yellow monster could steal one of the dice a certain amount of times, baring the wind is blowing on to the table, that the dice could land on their edge depending on what surface they land on, etc, etc. you would have a lot more work. By limiting variables it makes things so much clearer. If you think about it the first inning can only see a max amount of six batters per team for an outcome to be defined, so the 7th, 8th and 9th batter hold zero value in my analysis. The weather at game time plays a role, but not the fact that a storm might be approaching. I only really care about the starter because the chances of him injuring himself in the first is slim (although Rich Hill got me good with his blister, lol). So, I sorta went a little off topic here, but this might help some of you guys out there who are trying to cap their own games.

Now let's make some money. I gotta go crunch some numbers!

    Hey TT,

Do you know if 5dimes offers 2nd inning props other than when the game is going on live?

I only ask because I've only seen 1st inning offered.

    BOL

Depending on what happens in the first inning, we might have a play on the 2nd inning of the NYM/SF game. I'll update it here.

    Thanks F-A!

    The resurrection!

I've been doing some work on this system now, let's see how this goes. If I can get a line right before the games start, I'll take it, just hope I can stay up:

    Run in the second:
    ATL/ARZ, NO - 2%BR
    NYY/SEA, NO - 1%BR
    CHC/SD, NO - 1%BR
    KC, MIA, NO - 1%BR

If all goes well today, I'll up the %'s.

**This is not System 1 or System 2, this is a completely different bet!

    You are a crazy mang!

Just FYI for those who use BetOnline or BookMaker, neither books offer 2nd inning Yes/No Run Scored bets pre-game. However, BetOnline does offer it at some point in the first inning but, of course, you have to be betting live. I think the bet stays up up until the first pitch of the second inning.

5dimes usually offers in game, inning yes/no bets one inning before hand. So as soon as they start updating their live lines, they'll usually have them there. You should be able to place bets a good 5-10 minutes before the first pitch.

Oh, right. It was you blackHIPPY who asked where you can place live single inning yes/no run scored bets for BookMaker. As far as I can tell, I have never been able to place that kind of a bet in BookMaker. I've only been able to place the normal full-game type bets and then outcome bets on individual batters of a particular inning (e.g., something like 1st batter of 2nd inning will (1) get a hit, (2) strikeout, (3) any other outcome).

I've only been able to take advantage of the individual batter outcome bet when I was watching a Sunday night game and saw that a particular team was starting a minor leaguer for the first time on an ESPN-broadcast Sunday night game (high pressure situation for a first timer) and the opposing team roughed him up for two runs in the first. I placed high plus money (+150 or more) on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd batters to get a hit in the second inning. Two out of the three got hits and I profited.

Anyway, sorry for the tangent but just thought I'd share a particular situation that will likely present itself again to those who are aware. Obviously, it doesn't happen often but when it does I will definitely bet a little bit more than I did this first time.

I think BetOnline stopped offering these types of bets live for some reason which is weird because I was able to places bets on a run scored in individual innings as recently as this past Sunday.

Probably adds further clout to TT's point about books not being able to handicap these types of bets profitably otherwise why would they take them out for live bets. Hopefully they leave them alone at least for pre-game first inning.

btw, the books I use; bet365, marathonbet and 5dimes all still offer those props.

My only issue is the max wager is around $100. This system will never really make you "real" money down the road, just some change here and there.
