I agree. The two picks I took and somehow won were both low risk. I wouldn't lay the wood on a heavy fave unless they're in an elimination game against a MUCH lesser team. Alot of these match-ups are pretty even early. I took offense over pitching in the games I took and this time, the O did prevail.
Record at 2-1 after the Beavers came up short in extra innings yesterday. Two plays today that the price feels right on for anyone who's following the college stuff.
Wow 2 more winners. Lovin' college ball to this point. Hope you didn't take Minny Crayzee - they got crushed early and never could re-cover. Have to see what the match-ups are for the Monday games, but there should be some more good value I think.
Good look with that A&M bet, EP. And I see Clemson has grabbed an early lead for you this afternoon.
Can't believe Texas is out. Picked up the game that weather stopped last night (we had some NASTY thunderstorms move through this neck o' the woods), and UC-Irvine pulled off a 9-6 win to oust the 'horns.
Yeah I saw that. Rice is the only Texas team left (besides A&M) and they bumped out my alma mater TCU yesterday. I also took a risk and laid some nasty chalk on Oregon State at -240, luckily they beat Rutgers. I don't have the nerves to lay that much on too many other occassions!
Now seeing A&M at +105 ... glad I waited to place this one. The pitching match-up isn't great for them, but I think home field advantage will negate that at a solid price!

Wow, if I could do this well in the pros! 3 winners with OSU, A&M and Clemson. A 4th possibly with Wichita State in the lead right now. Learn your lesson if you bet on the Super Regionals next weekend ... don't go with the big chalk. Top seed Vanderbilt got KO'ed today when they are something like -500 for the game. Florida State I think was the 2nd overall seed and got KO'ed yesterday with similar #s. I will be stopping at -200 and ONLY if the match-up really dictates that.
