One of those guys in particular, Joc pederson has been replaced by a more capable kiki hernandez. Certinaly dont expect to see carl crawford being dragged back out there either tonight. Line drive rate was rather high for degrom him along a ground ball/fly ball rate much lower. Lad went 1-8 w/ risp that game as well. Now doubt there is good reason why dodgers got no- hit twice in 10days by rhp with great sliders (Arrieta/Fiers) and degrom seems to fit that mold nicely. Bottom line though despite having great swing and miss stuff last time out degrom was in plenty of trouble early last game. If it were not for line drives being hit to infielders/outfielders different game. Also I think approach will be much different for dodger hitters who worked counts early and got on base but then got antsy and swung out of zone or hit line drives as above. Lot of young guys hadnt seen degrom before like seager and kiki whom i think might be able to have some success & now getting a second look in less than a week. So, we'll see if jake looks as good this time around but expect some regression from the last performance. Degrom one of my favorite pitchers but I think it's gonna be much harder to repeat that performance tonight. Grienke we all know can get hit early but tends to settle in as well.
