San Fran starter Barry Zito has never been strong out of the gate in April. Fade the Giants tonight when they head to the desert to face Doug Davis and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks play host to Barry Zito and the Giants knowing Zito has lost 14 of his last 19 team starts in April.

Doug Davis, Arizona's left-handed thrower this evening, has pitched well in the desert with a 3.00 ERA in his last four starts at the Diamondbacks' home park. The D-Backs are 31-15 over the last three seasons as a home underdog in the +100 to +125 range, and 80-50 in that angle since 1997.

With Zito's poor April track record, we'll stay at home with Davis and Arizona here tonight.
