1* Oakland -132: I think Joe Kennedy is an underrated pitcher. He’s been very reliable both pitching out of the pen, and also in the rotation since joining the A’s. This is a good situation for him at home against the M’s who, other than Ichiro, struggle against left-handed pitching. A bad showing for Oakland’s offense on Wednesday, when they were shutout by Jarrod Washburn, but Miguel Batsista should be the cure. The A’s hammered Batista the first week of the season.
1* Padres -129: I like the Padres to bounce back after a rare blown save from Hoffman last night. Livan Hernandez has had control issues, walking 16 in 25 IP. He is coming off a poor start against the Padres last week, and I expect SD to rough him up again tonight. The D'Backs poor offense will have a difficult time putting runs on the board against Chris Young, who is tough to beat on the road.
