Well, I have a 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4 Team Parlay with Oakland as the last team. If Oakland wins the Parlays are worth approximately $2,200 (I spent $60 Total on the Parlays).

So I am putting up a pretty big hedge on Atlanta - 725 to win $1,015.

Therefore, I either win $1,475 if Oakland wins, which is what I really expect, or $1,015 if Atlanta wins.

I really felt like letting it ride because I think Oakland will win; however, with baseball anything can happen so I figured the smart move was to hedge.

What are your thoughts; good or bad move?

Great move considering you have the A's on the road, on a 4 game losing streak, and about to cap a long road trip. The only thing that the A's have going is that Lester is on the mound and the braves have Minor.

I expect a tight, low scoring ballgame.
