This has been a relatively high scoring series and the pitching matchup today may scream over. I have a different state of mind on this total. The braves really struggle producing runs in the day and Santana had a great outing the last time he pitched. I look for a carry over effect heading into todays game in Colorado. There is a cross-wind that should keep some baseballs inside hitter friendly Coors field.

Washington/San Francisco over 7
The Nationals are rolling right now, actually right into first place in the NL east. They have notoriously struggled against a common foe in Tim Hudson. He has dominated the Nats, and the Giants will need him to get off the snide. Washington sends rookie Treinen to the hill in hopes of continuing their pitching dominance over the Giants. I see San Fran being able to get to this rookie early and often as their state of mind should be of pure retaliation. I actually have this total at 9 with a 6-3 giants win.
