    I don't get the whole rookie argument....because we've seen rookies pitch extremely big in back against the wall games the last few days.

    If Sonny Gray doesn't spin a gem, Oakland was down 2-0 going to Detroit, and virtually done.
    If Mike Wacha doesn't spin a gem, St. Louis is eliminated!
    If Gerrit Cole doesn't spin a gem, Pittsburgh was down 2-0 coming to Pittsburgh, and virtually done.

    Small sample size obviously....but pretty good nerves being shown by these young cats.

    I'm really pulling for the small market Pirates in this one but it's going to be tough to get a W against Wainwright. I wouldn't lay a dollar sixty on them though. That type of betting will make you go broke. I'm gonna enjoy this one as a fan and root for the Pirates.
