    Chen vs Verlander

    Anyone got the guts to fade Verlander and the Tigers tonight?

    Tigers are 0-6 the last six times he has taken the mound. 3-8 since the All-Star Break.

    Chen has been good, not great, with the Royals going 7-3 since the All-Star Break. Beat the Tigers in his last outing 5-2.

    Royals at +155 is tempting as well as the over of 8.

    Taking KC was my first thought until I saw Chen's splits at Comerica.

    this year 5.1 IP 10.13 1.69 .348

    last year 10.0 IP 7.20 2.40 .422

    Chen has some impressive starts to his credit lately, including last week's home triumph over Detroit, and it's tempting with Cabrera slumping over the past several games. But given Chen's recent history at Comerica -- pass.
