    saunders 3-3 last 6.. he average...

    Guthrie due to get smacked around, he loves serving up homers. Terrible record vs seattle and too much juice to lay with the royals. Probably saunders last W of the year here.

    I tend to agree with your posts, but I gotta disagree here. Guthrie is a terrible pitcher, is pitching awful, and he doesn't have great stats against the Mariners lineup as is. Plus everyone is on the Royals Spd and ML.

    If I were to bet on this game, I'd be taking the M's

    Guthrie's record at home is 9-4 in 14 starts. He's also been better in day games compared to night outings 3.83 vs. 4.41 ERA. KC is 16-12 in Guthrie's starts this year and the M's are 12-16 in Saunders. I'll take my chances with KC at home scrapping to stay alive.
