    St Louis @ Pirates 9/1

Not only do I like the Cardinals outright in this game I also think the Pirates under 4.5 in the first half is a great bet. What does everyone else think?

Pittsburgh defeated St. Louis four out of five games last month and it took the first two games of this series on Friday and Saturday, while outscoring St. Louis by a combined 12-1 count.
They are due is a theory or Pitt has their number?

Yea that's true but I think Joe Kelly is throwing the ball really well and he is their best pitcher other than wainwright IMO. Maybe Pitt does have their number and now that Beltran is out of the lineup I'm gonna lay off the game but bet Pitt under 4.5 the first half.

The Cardinals have a good chance behind Kelly to avoid the sweep especially with the Pirates bringing a minors pitcher to the mound. Just keep in mind that the Cardinals are one of the worst teams in the league against left hand pitching, and Kris Johnson is a left hand pitcher. The Pirates main batting concern was with left hand hitting and with Morneau in the lineup that concern changes a bit, and they can pose a threat to Kelly.

Holliday Craig and Molina might be the best 3-4-5 in baseball

So much for issues against left pitching today. That's why Johnson is in the minors. This game is going over
