    Gas can? The guy almost never has two bad starts in a row, so I am counting on him to bounce back for both this play and for the Under. He has a 2.85 FIP and 3.25 xFIP, both running ahead of his already good 3.66 ERA. So how is Fister a gas can again? He has also allowed just 1 earned run in 15 innings in two starts vs. the Angels this year and last.

    if you're going to call someone stupid you should be able to spell it correctly. that makes your comment more ASININE than anything.

    and if a team as good as the tigers losing 6 of the last 7 fister starts doesnt mean he is having an off year..i dont know what does

    That actually means nothing. In between the first loss and the last loss, Fister had five straight Quality Starts and the Tigers went 1-4 while scoring a TOTAL of four runs in the four losses (2-0-0-2), so you can't pin those losses on him.

    i think it means something. but either way his ERA so far this year is higher than it was in 2011 and 2012 so i stand by my comment that both weaver and fister are having bad years compared to their past years performances
