    He's usually the guy we put in when we are losing by multiple runs and the game is basically over. Not sure what Wash was thinking putting him in there.

    He's in the Big Leagues on the basis of one thing and one thing alone: He is Left Handed. No RH 2 pitch pitcher with Kirkman's low 90's FB, weak Slide piece and absolutely nothing else would ever be on a Major League mound in June - let alone pitching for a contender.
