I've been watching baseball for over 30 years, and Kershaw

Is the best lefty I've ever seen.

If you get a chance, watch a game this guy pitches from start to finish. Between Kershaw and Verlander, we're watching living legends take the hill every five days, folks. We should consider ourselves lucky.

Well said man, I watched several highlights and Kershaw was a stud (as per usual), the Dodgers need to get their act together - perhaps Kershaw can be the spark plug, i.e LAD chemistry... As you say: Verlander and Kershaw define "ace."

Who would have thought if you said, "which is the best team- record wise- in So. Cal come May?" .....

    ...It would be the Padres.

My exact thoughts every time I see him take the mound. Dude is ridiculous, last night was just another example of his dominance.

Did you ever read Jonah Keri's article on Kershaw from about two weeks ago? Really good stuff.

No coin what I think is a true measure of his greatness is how well he pitches when he does not have his ''best stuff'' it's awesome to watch him dominate teams when he has it all going but what's amazing to see is his ability to dominate good hitters when he has nothing on that day.

I love watching guys dig out of an early pitch-count hole the way he did last night or Sale did last week vs. KC. Awesome stuff.

Randy Johnson was better, IMO. However, I fukking LOVE Kershaw's curveball.
