Cardinals Over 4.5 [-105] *To win 2 units Calculated risk time. Dillon Gee for the Mets. Jekyll & Hyde. Great @ Citi Field. Terrible on the road. He has given up 16 earned runs in three road starts this season @ MIA, COL & PHI. All saw the opposition score at least six. Mets bullpen continues leaky, so if they get to Gee early - the BP should help late.
Rays Over 4 [-105] A hot offense at home for TB. Seven straight games @ home they have scored four or more and hit four or better in 13 of 15 overall. Lackey goes for Boston. He's been solid, but teams have still scored five runs in three of his four starts by game's end. Several of the Rays' regular have hit Lackey well.

Tigers Over 5 [-140] Scorching hot offense @ hot vs. Astros pitching. Nine of the last 13 games at Comerica, Detrooit has scored at least five.
Royals Over 4 [-130] * To win 2 units
Calculated risk again. Barry Enright was a poor pitcher with Arizona a few years ago and he hasn't looked much better with the Angels. His 1st start saw him go just 3.1 IP and give up five earned to the White Sox. If KC can get to him early, that could mean some deli time against the meaty Angels pen that sports a 4.67 ERA at home.

Rays Over 4 [-110] *To win 2 units Calculated risk time again. I have documented that the Rays have mostly feasted on lefties @ home to the tune of .300. While dominant lefties like Lester can hold them down, the Rays bats seem to be able to pound out runs against average southies like Doubront. Most of the TB regs have seen Doubront and had success against him. Doubront has been crushed for 12 earnies in his last two appearances - one a 5+ inning relief effort - with the opposition scoring four or better in five of his six appearances.
Nationals Over 3.5 [-120] *To win 2 units
Calculated risk. Vogelsong has been absolute gasoline this season. In everyone of his eight starts, the opposition has scored at least four runs. He sports a 9.28 ERA at AT&T Park this season. Nats have scored four or better in four of seven on this road trip, including three of the last four. Giants have given up five or more in six straight - albeit all on the road.
If the Royals f-ing fail, I think I need a sabbatical and reboot. Road tripping to St.Louis this weekend. Think that will be the hiatus through Memorial Day and re-think my baseball approach for the season. Still believe in these team totals, but I think I need a better strategy. Maybe go to a single play a day. Just thinking out loud as the Royals suck for another inning. Only solace I take is KC scored big late last night against the Houston pen that they should be just about ready to go against for the 7th-9th. C'mon Lady Luck, you bitch.
