A tough ending last night since the Mutts couldn't muster up any runs to help RA get his 19th. What a shame, especially after pitching a very good game. But can't take away from Lee, he did his job well too. Oh well, another day - another game - another play.

Only one play tonight. The White Sox got a huge victory against Detroit and Fister last night in what felt like a playoff game...needless to say it also felt like a must win. Well, that feeling carries on against the Royals. Yes, the Royals have had the ChiSox's number this season but this is when each game counts. Only 16 games remain for both the Sox and Tigers, with the Sox having the chance to really extend the lead with a series win in Kansas City. Floyd had a rocky start last week against the Tigers after coming back from the DL but expect him to focus and find a way to return to form against the Kansas City bats. And yes, Hochevar has pitched well against the ChiSox this season, but this is the time post seasons are decided...each game counts...all the marbles are in the bag!

Well, the ChiSox, as anticipated, are playing every game like it's their last since they control their own fate against the Tigers and don't want to give up any distance between them. So they cashed for me last night.

Blue Jays vs Yankees. Love this game for several reasons: Yankees are also in a must win situation to hold the lead in the AL East. Second place and you're in for the fight of your life for the wild card. Pettite is anxious to return to the mound for the Yanks who, like Bon Jovi says, need something to believe in, especially after CC has let them down so often lately. This should be a nice lift for them.

Like the value in the RL over ML today. Yankees should get to Alvarez early and often.
