FYI, Votto not starting. Don't know if that voids your bet or not. BOL tonight.

Thanks Bitt. Yeah, it does void the bet, I really thought he looked really good last night and was getting back on track. I saw someone in another thread mention knee problems again but rotoworld is just saying routine day of rest. I hope for the Reds sake that knee problem info is wrong

i remember when he tweaked his knee about a week or so before the All-Star Break, but he came back quick (i figured that if it was bad, he's sit until the break). agree that Reds really need him. one of my favorite players in baseball. love that stat about him having only pulled one ball into the stands foul in his career.

I remember reading an article about Votto in sports Illustrated, it talked about how he had the the best wOBA, wRAA, wRC, and OBP numbers since 2010 . That foul stat is incredible and so are his stats about hitting infield flys, he has such good balance , best hitter in baseball. His on base percentages are what wins pennant for these teams, I hope the Reds keep him healthy.

I was thinking about adding a Reds future to win the NL pennant this week, seeing it at +550 at Bovada. They are just so young but looking alot better than my futures on the Cardinals and Dodgers.

Glad to see you back GREGM!

    http://blogs.thescore.com/mlb/2012/0...really-good-2/

He has pulled only a single batted ball foul into the stands in his career; and
He has hit only three infield pop ups over the last four seasons.

Thanks SB. Wish he were starting tonight, Reds could use that bat.
