Hammel vs. Weaver who ya got?

Got a battle of the aces tonight! Angels the hotter team right now and it looks like the O's are starting their annual regression. It's rare you get Weaver at this price and I'm leaning towards the hotter team right now. Let me hear what u guys think.

I would pick weaver, however I'm taking the under this game instead.

Weaver because Baltimore's offense has disappeared. He'll shut them out or give up 1 run. Hammell will give up 2-4. Angels win comfortably IMO

Also a very good play. Although if it's a 3-0 game heading into the 8th inning, the thought of the red hot angels offense against Baltimore's bullpen is terrifying

Weaver loves him some Camden Yards.

Baltimore's averaging like 1 run a game in their last 7

This is the pitching equivalent of the Yankees facing some meatball pitcher who is getting destroyed on a nightly basis

Key stat for me when handicapping this game: Hammel has allowed just one home run in 40 innings at Camden Yards this year

Gotta think home dog, or nothing at all in this affair, especially with the early sharp move towards the Orioles

We got 2 hot hurlers going at it in Philly tonight as well. A little more under the radar than the Weaver/ Hammel battle. However McDonald vs. Valdes is another good matchup. Does anyone know how the Pirates do vs. lefties?

Key stat here is that the Angels are in the midst of a raging hot streak and they're facing a team that is regressing to where they should be...a mediocre sub .500 team

Jered Weaver has given up 12 hits in a game twice in his career - one of those times was with tonight's umpire behind home plate

Hammel allowed two earned runs in two starts (14 IP) in Doug Eddings' strike zone last year

Yeah Brahma you may be right however the O's are not going to lose them all this year. I lean Angels although part of my gut says side with the home dog trying to avoid the sweep. Decisions... decisions lol.

I have, he's good. Weaver's better and Baltimore offense is nonexistent recently

My guess is that it will be like 2-1 through the first 7, angels score 2 more and win 4 - 1

Orioles so cold; also you can count on at least 2 errors from them, taking angels

Masterson had only given up one HR against the Yankees before last night and ended up serving 3.

Hammel's starts at home have been against NYY (5 R), KC (0 R), PHI (4 R) and WAS (2 R). I'd say at this point the Angels offense is better than all of those except NYY. I think he gives up at least 3-4 as well.

Angels are averaging 6 runs a game last 7 and that's mostly games in a big time pitcher's stadium. When they're hot, their offense is as good as anybody's

I think Hammells gives up somewhere between 2-4 and Angels win maybe 4-1 or 5-0

Gonna man up tonight and go with that little part of my gut saying the play is the Orioles! Home team trying to avoid a sweep and I have faith their bats can spring a little life tonight. Weaver is a stud however 3-3 away this year with an e.r.a. ov 4 and Hammel is nails at home. Balty for me +106. GL and good winnings boys!!

Will be fading orioles a lot. Terrible defense, no hitting; who cares who's pitching? Zero offense
