Smoltzie signs!!!
Braves finally signed Smoltz...
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this Smoltz, Hudson, James, Hampton, Ramirez, Davies, Thompson rotation works out...
Who they trade away and so on...
Anyway, some good news at the end of a very dissapointing season...
I bet Smoltzie ends up in Cooperstown...

It's going to be very interesting to see what happens in 2007 for the Braves. I think if Chipper and Hampton recover from there injuries, they should be a force once again in that NL east.
You bring up a good point about Smoltz being a HOF'er. He just past Frank Tananna on the strikeout list. Not to mention all those saves and wins he has over the past 15 years with Atlanta. He should be a HOF'er for sure.
hudson has been a bust

hudson only excels when the rest of the team excels.

His market value is as low as its ever been.... plus he showed some signs of being his old self at some point in the second half... I would give him another shot and trade either Ramirez or Thompson...
