    Plays for 6/18/2012

18-11-1 last 30 plays. Back on track after f*cking up for a bit with some total plays...no more total plays from now on

    Yankees -1.5 RL -100

    - CC against a mediocre pitcher - auto play (this is one of the most profitable betting propositions in the sport)

I really love the idea of backing Matt Cain against Jerome Williams, but is it just me or has every pitcher throwing a no hitter has been terrible in his starts after that?

I love backing Dickey but there's 2 issues. 1 issue is the mets offense has been struggling and I hate backing a pitcher where I feel like they might have to get a shutout to win. 2nd problem is terrible mets bullpen. It's not a bad play and you're much better off just playing the RL at +125 but I doubt I'm going to play it

edit: If you're going to play it, definitely play the RL + 125. Nearly all of Dickey's wins have been by 2+ runs

I agree with the Yankees pick but it kills me to bet against my Braves. Minor is terrible and what he did in Atlanta last time was an aberration.

Yankee will get to minor....Brahm im gonna hit the yanks team total over hard tomorrow. Gonna hope to get a line at an even 5 & at worst catch a push. I think they at very least get to 5.

why not take the yanks RL in case it's like a 4-2 game?

    I agree on 5 TT, hell I think they'll get to 7-8

I'm 15-6 on sides and runlines. I am done f*cking with totals

Totals are bullsht...just way too unpredictable. Follow me on sides and runlines and we shall dominate

CC's advanced stats are quite good. He's just having some bad luck in terms of BABIP

I am debating backing Cain against Jerome Williams but is it just me or has every pitcher this season struggled after throwing a no hitter?

Williams has yielded 5 earned runs in his last 2 games to the Dodgers and Mariners.. at -110, Cain and SF looks attractive..

    GL to everyone!

I can't fade somebody as good as Matt Cain, unless you can show me some stats that say that pitchers following a no hitter are posting terrible numbers

^ most pitchers after a perfect game tend to struggle the rest of the season (aside from roy halladay)

Well Jered Weaver threw a no hitter and then went on to throw quality starts in 3 of his next 4 games (all LAA wins)

I think Verlander dominated last season after his no hitter as well, didn't he? Johan S is the one guy who has really struggled in 2 outings since his no hitter

Looking like a pass for me

    very similar

The other pitchers throwing perfect games were all mediocre pitchers anyways though - Phil Humber and Dallas Braden suck balls and are nowhere near Matt Cain's league

Mets RL is much better play than ML. They'll win by 2+ runs if they do win

Indians ML? I'd actually go the other way. Derek Lowe's advanced stats are terrible. He's due for some huge regression

They don't need hamilton and he will not be playing anyways. they are playing the padres for fuks sake and it is jason marque. LMAO

This is the play of the day. Matt harrison is dominant and the rangers will go to petco and show those twigs how to reach the fences at petco.

    Rangers - 2.5 + 158

If rangers win, it's going to likely by be a huge margin. In fact, 19 out of the rangers 35 road wins have been by at least 3 runs, this is one of the most profitable betting props in the sport

God I'm so glad I stopped playing totals. That was a horrible idea on my part and it's the reason why I went into my slump. Totals in baseball are just a crapshoot and impossible to win over the long term. I won 3 overs with the Rockies and it just lured me back into playing totals

I'm now 15-6 on Runlines and Moneylines. I'm just going to play runlines and moneylines from now on. I feel like I can dominate on those
