The Tigers and Orioles make up an earlier rainout this afternoon in Baltimore, and the pitchers should have the upper hand with the best play in this one being the under.

Today we will see the Detroit Tigers, lead by starting pitcher Nate Robertson, going up against the Baltimore Orioles lead by starting pitcher Kris Benson.

These two starting pitchers faced each other last week in Detroit, with the Detroit Tigers and Nate Robertson getting a 2-0 win. We expect to see another low-scoring game between these two teams and pitchers. The left-handed Robertson is pitching extremely well, allowing only three runs or less in eight of his last nine starts and a 0.82 ERA in his last three starts. You cannot expect a team like the Orioles, who have struggled against left-handers all season long, to find a way to score runs.

As for Orioles starter Kris Benson, he has also been pitching very well as of late. In fact, in his last three starts he has a 2.35 ERA. Best of all, if any of today's starting pitchers get into any trouble, both bullpens' key arms are rested and should be able to save the day.

The bottom line...we should see very little scoring today!

Both starters have been super solid. I expect the under to cash with ease.
