It's a battle of left-handers tonight in Chicago where the Tigers take on the White Sox. Detroit has the advantage behind veteran Kenny Rogers.
Mark Buerhle, tonight's starter for Chicago, hasn't had his stuff all season and the Tigers will continue to put the hurt on the White Sox as they come off a disappointing sweep by the A's over the weekend.
The Tigers counter on the mound with a southpaw of their own, Kenny Rogers, who has had a great season and he's 4-0 his just a 2.03 ERA his last six starts. Rogers is 2-1 against the White Sox this year with a 0.86 ERA in three starts. If not for shabby defense behind him in one of those three outings, he'd be a perfect 3-0 against Chicago in 2006.
We will take the sizzling hot lefty against the team which struggles against lefties more than anyone else.
