    wednesday bases

    Favorites (16-20)(-8.68)
    Underdogs (17-11)(+10.22)
    Runlines (0-3)(-3.20)
    Totals (5-1)(+3.85)
    Parlays (5-7)(-0.51)

    For The Season (43-42)(+1.68)

I said last night I might have a bad night. When I love a ton of games and bet them all, it is shocking how many times I lose. Last night I went 3-5 and dropped 3.01 units. I have sort of hit a little mini losing streak and I am barely in the plus now for the season. Those runlines are killing me, along with favorites. I will have to reconsider playing so many favs and runlines if this trend continues. Imagine how bad I would be if I did not limit my favorites to -150 and under.

Working my night tonight, so I am putting all my bets in before going to work this morning. Here are Tuesday’s selections.

Parlay risking 1 unit to win 1.15 units

    Yankees over Oakland
    Cleveland over Kansas City

Everybody writing off the Yanks after a couple of weeks. What a joke. Don’t get me wrong…I hate the Yanks as much as the next time, but I am not stupid. Cleveland’s Lee is going to bounce back and dominate like he did last year. KC on the road is hardly ever a good bet either.

Pittsburgh -108 vs Florida………….Most of the time I would be all over Florida thinking there is no way they are going to get swept against the Pirates, but I have been losing. I think Florida might be the team to beat in the NL East this year, but they are not going to keep up this pace they are on to start the season. Pirates are hitting the ball right now and their pitcher has been amazing so far this season. For the first time in years, Pirates fans may have some hope to be a decent team. I will ride those high hopes, hot pitcher and home team vs a team due to lose a few.

San Diego -119 vs San Fran…………Pads have been a pleasant surprise so far and I like Young pitching for them. He has a ton of potential and just need to put together one solid season. Zito sucks. He is not what he used to be. Giants have won a couple in a row, but I think they are one of the worst teams in the majors and don’t expect to many winning streaks from them this year. It stops at two after today.

Phillies -128 vs Milwaukee………..Starting to feel better about my Phillies. Jimmy Rollins started of horrible and I think it was because he missed spring training playing in the World Classic Series. He is finally starting to come around and he makes them go. Very nice odds to get the fightin phils at home as they may be a little under rated at the moment.

Atlanta -129 vs Washington…………..Braves cold right now, but they have too much talent to keep losing to teams like the Nats. Their bats are due to break lose soon like they did when they avoided the sweep at Pittsburgh last week. Nats not as bad as their record, but they are still the Nats.

Over 10.5 (+105) Toronto/Texas………….Toronto best team offensively so far and we know Texas can hit the ball and has very little pitching. Neither pitcher very good today. I think this game goes way over the total and this one should hit 15 or better.

Seattle +100 vs Tampa Bay…………. I mentioned yesterday that I am off the Rays bandwagon for now, at least when they are on the road. Seattle remains a great story so far and I will ride them for a while as long as they are not too big a favorite.

Hopefully I am still in the plus after tonight. Good Luck Everybody!!

Like them all except the Yanks and Indians. I generally stay away from the Yanks the 1st half of the season. But looking at your records, you seem to do better w/ dogs than favs. All your picks are favs with the exception of Seatle. I just wanted to point that out. Good luck.

    My play:
    Pitt
    if win, SD
    Baltimore
    Phillies
