    Is playing the Cards -1 too risky?

    I was loving this play early, but the more I think about it the more I am second guessing myself. The Cards seem to be slumping as of late and as bad as the Padres are they have pulled some wins out of their ass lately. We all know any team can win on any night; so i'd like to hear your thoughts...Is Cards -1 (-133) too much juice to pay on a floundering team or am I just over thinking this?

    i was scared to lose my LAD bet yesterday that some people promised me. You'd be pretty safe with a straight cardinals money line but dont take my opinion.. I just think they've been solid all around and its rare for them to miss a good game

    I played the Cards -1.5 @ +125 and I'm not the least bit concerned. It is nothing more than my opinion, but they'll either cover the -1.5, or they'll probably lose the game outright... and I'd rather be playing + odds as opposed to paying the juice.

    like it...still debating playing the Cards -1 or Rangers ML.

    Cards took a long AND bad road trip, losing 4 straight. Tired...? Yes. Pissed off? Definitely.

    Padres had a long game last night. And they won their last two. Tired...? Yes. Content and perhaps ready for a let-down? Maybe. Lots of confidence after b2b wins? Yes. Dismal against LH pitchers? Yes.

    Still a game-time decision for me but it's either Cards -1 or pass.
