Interesting lines imo. Darvish pitched against the Mariners in his major league debut and posted 5.2 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 4 BB, 5 SO, 110 pitches, 59 strikes. The Rangers managed to win it 11-5, but Darvish looked horrible that day.
Ever since Darvish has been the Rangers' best pitcher and has a 6-1, 2.60 ERA right now. On the other hand we have Hernandez coming off one of his worst career outings giving up eight runs (six earned) with 10 hits and three walks in 3 2/3 innings at Cleveland.
Also the Mariners just swept the Rockies and their hitting seems somewhat alive. Yet it's very hard not to take Darvish and the Rangers at just -125.
