Good morning boys,
Every Saturday SBR gives me this platform to pad your bankroll. As any of you know who followed me throughout the NFL season we wound up +34.75 units and now we are doing it again in baseball. Last week we went 4-1-1 (+7.7 units) and now stand at +19.55 units for the season.

That has nothing to do with today's game and the current roster of the Angels. The cumulative batting average and OPS of today's starting lineup for L.A against Harrison is less than abysmal. A blanket statement like the one you made is what gives folks the wrong impression of a game and really is proof that people should handicap their own wagers and not rely on others for information.

I stick to the basic "sucks/awesome dichotomy" mode of handicapping analysis (for example, Minnesota and Luke Hochevar "suck", the Yankees and Roy Halladay "are awesome")
when I give justification for my picks, I basically go "I mean, hey, uh, i mean both starters basically suck, uhh, I mean, you know, I don't know, I'm liking the over today"
you see how it works?
for instance yesterday I picked over in Cleveland/Boston. My reasoning? Clay Buchholz "is ass", Ubaldo Jimenez "sucks too" and also Boston's bullpen "sucks"

A factual quote that was again, never questioned. Perhaps lacking in relevance given that most of the players who did that damage are not playing today or have moved on to other teams but if that is the depth of your handicapping, that is your business.

If you think that handicapping a game correctly, starting pitcher stats against today's starting lineup compares to some sleep aid, that is your opinion. Perhaps a few dozen of those before bed time this evening would help you in your research of that.
